The Center for the Study of Sports in Society will host Jim Ivler on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. in 112 Forest Resources Building. Ivler, Penn State class of 1990, has been a partner at Sportstars Agency Inc. in New York City for 23 years.
Ivler has represented several Nittany Lions that made the leap from NCAA football to the NFL. Some of the most notable players include: Tamba Hali, Robbie Gould, John Urschel, Jordan Hill, Donovan Smith. And most recently 2016 graduates Anthony Zettel and Kyle Carter.
Students and faculty are welcome to join us as Ivler shares his experiences about the life of an agent in the NFL, representing professional athletes, and his relationship with Penn State.
